Mummy and me is a programme designed to have 2 - 3½ year olds and their mum, dad or caregivers involved in a weekly session with activities and projects that will enable the child and adult to work together as a team.

• The parent has an opportunity to interact with his/her child in a stuctured setting.
• The child has an opportunity to develop his/her social skills through interaction with other children.
• Singing and stories.
• Arts and Crafts.
• Christian Education.

Our goal is to expand the cognitive, affective and physical growth of the child.

• Independence is encouraged through classroom jobs and the practice of self-help skills.
• Stories and nursery rhymes develop and strengthen logical thinking, verbal language, sequencing of events, listening skills and stimulate curiosity.
• Creative arts help stimulate the senses and develop finger dexterity through use of scissors, paint and brushes.
• Maths skills include counting, classifying and matching of colours, shapes and sets.

Our goal is to offer activities that will allow higher skills to emerge as the children approach five.

• The alphabet will be introduced with multi sensory activities to explore the shape and sound of each letter through meaningful experiences.
• Children will be encourages to explore and discover the functional use of the alphabet through knowing their own names and through writing.
• Writing at this level means the expression of children's ideas in some written form. It can be as simple as scribble marks, a drawing or some form of actual letters but does not mean penmanship or the copying of letters from a text.

The Pre-K curriculum follows the same principles as for the 4 year old programme, but is enhanced through
